Program Promotion Video
Course Reflection Video
Group 3, your content was great. I really enjoyed listening to the videos, telling me the importance of journaling. In our group of transformative learning, we found journaling was also important for our learning style.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the designs go, excellent job embedding the videos directly into your blog. Your program promotion was a very great demonstration, with the best part being the brochure. Great work. I'm so impressed.
Your course reflection was so good! The presentation method your group used was so good. I really enjoyed all of the special icons. Again, all of the designs in this promotion were so good!
One question: In your course reflection, you commented that it was a good thing that the class members were allowed to comment on 4 self-created items, allowing them time to work ahead. Then, you said that helped discussions. My thought is that learning occurs when we reflect on experiences of self and others. Posting 4 self-created items could potentially result in not returning to the discussion board to add or take away from the thoughts of others. Would you agree?
Group 3,
ReplyDeleteLoved your PowerPoint presentations. I thought the content was clear and because of the way it was presented, it was enjoyable to watch. The brochure really caught my eye. To mean it was simplistic and informative - in other words, not cluttered with a bunch of "stuff". I was drawn to it based on the overall presentation of the brochure and I was not disappointed when I read the information.
I also really enjoyed your reflection. You brought up a couple of topics that I had not thought of. The idea that the content was listed in the calendar ahead of time so students could work ahead if they wanted to was great. I did not think of that when I looked back at the class but I definitely think this was a strength of the class. The strength of communication amongst team members is so important and you stressed that in the strengths of the class and recommendations. I could not agree with you more and feel like it was great that you brought it out in your presentation.
Great job!
Group 3,
ReplyDeleteThis is Jacob with Group 1. Great program promotion! Please see below for some of my take-aways and comments.
1. The promotion video was very well put together. I liked how professional it was and how you included the brochure and Facebook post ideas on the video itself. I think adding graphics to the slides before the brochure and post ideas would have been more engaging.
2. The introduction to the program promotion was very good. I like how you did a broad overview and then focused on one main idea - autobiographies. I also liked how you explained the different vehicles of autobiographies and how they facilitate narrative learning.
3. You put a lot of thought into each activity and how the program promotion day would play out. Nice job explaining them as well.
4. I think you went above and beyond for your reflection video. I thought it was very clean, interactive, and informative. I appreciate your suggestions for the course.

Group 3.
ReplyDeleteI thought your reflection video was very well organized and easy to follow along with. I think that the suggestion portion will be very helpful to the students taking the class next semester! You guys did a very good job at constantly connecting your program to narrative learning, which is something I struggled with when working on our video. The video overall was very clear and concise, and not that it matters but your program would have my vote for funding! It is unique and I do feel as if it would be very beneficial. Addressing promotional material was very clever, and show me that you all really got into this project. Both videos were great!
I forgot to attack my name to the previous comment, this is Kaylah Bell.
DeleteHello Group 3!
ReplyDeleteWow! This is an awesome program promotion video! I want to be a participant in this program. You connected your narrative learning style to how the program operates very well and I also liked how you outlined each program activity and how they accomplished the program's objective.
